  Archmere艺术 & Design Department Chair 夫人. Stephanie Silverman ’00 was recently invited by the National 艺术 Education Association President, 马里奥Rossero, to serve on a Steering Committee for the organization to support the national membership and identify opportunities for organizational growth and change. 夫人. Silverman is one of four invited panelists for a special session titled, 艺术 and Design Educators: Change Agents in Redesigning Education, at the forthcoming April 2024 NAEA Convention in Minneapolis, MN.

  Jeff Finocchiaro ’92 Hosts AI Lunch and Learn

  Archmere has taken the Lunch and Learn business model and applied it to our educational initiatives, offering sessions that students can voluntarily attend and enjoy a free meal, all while learning about issues and topics that fall outside of their typical classroom day. Guest speakers are often Archmere community members or alumni. On November 17th, Jeff Finocchiaro ’92 returned to campus to lead an interactive Lunch & Learn with 17 current Archmere students. Held in the Patio Music Room, Jeff spoke to the group about Generative 艺术ificial Intelligence (AI), focusing on how AI is "changing the world and shaping the future".

  Stuart Zimble, 84年 Working for World Health Organization

  Stuart recently spent two years in Ukraine working with the World Health Organization's emergency response team. The World Health Organization is a specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for international public health. He began as the Operations Support & Logistics unit lead supporting WHO and the Ministry of Health for the COVID response in 2021. 随后, he was present in Kyiv during the Russian invasion in 2月ruary of 2022, after which he worked supporting WHO Country Office, 卫生设施, and other partners to solve health logistics issues during the war.

  EJ Dealy '91 Receives Star of Delaware Award

  9月28日, EJ Dealy ‘91 was honored with the Star of Delaware Award by the Make a Wish Delaware Foundation on 9月tember 28th. The Star of Delaware recognizes people that are very committed to the organization and aligned to the core mission of creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. When a wish comes true, it creates strength, hope and transformation in a child – and a community. As the Star of Delaware, EJ embraces the power of a wish knowing that the wish journey is a crucial part of a child's medical treatment.
